Frequency selection
  1. High-frequency heating. The frequency is 100 ~ 500KHZ, and 200 ~ 300KHZ is often used. It belongs to the electronic tube type high frequency heating, and the depth of the hardened layer is 0.5 ~ 2.5mm, which is suitable for the hardening of small and medium parts.
  2. Medium frequency heating. The frequency is 500~10000HZ, and 2500~8000HZ is often used. The power supply equipment is a mechanical medium frequency heating device or a thyristor medium frequency generator. The depth of the hardened layer is 2-10 mm. It is suitable for hardening of larger diameter shafts, medium and large gears.
  3. Power frequency heating. The frequency is 50HZ. It uses mechanical power frequency heating power supply equipment, the hardened layer depth can reach 10-20mm, suitable for surface hardening of workpieces with large diameter.
