Silver soldering of copper plates is an important process in the manufacturing of electric motors. Copper plates may have different thicknesses and widths, and often two or more copper conductors need to be brazed together, Depending on the location of the copper plates, the brazing process may need to be completed using closed round induction coils or open U-shaped induction coils.
In this copper plate brazing project, we used 8 copper plates measuring 12×4mm and 50mm in length. The weld extends to a depth of about 20mm.
Brazing machine used: HF-35KW Portable Induction Heating Machine
Brazing Process:
Start the 35KW portable induction brazing machine after the industrial chiller runs,used the customized coils to heat the 8 copper plates which are fixed already, The entire brazing process lasts about 20 seconds.
Results:
The 35KW Portable Induction Heating Machine completed brazing the copper plate in about 20 seconds,
